異所性骨化切除後の患部の筋肉の再生について, About Regeneration of Right Thigh Muscles after Resection of Heterotopic Ossification

異所性骨化切除手術に際して、懸念していたのは、切除された患部周囲の筋肉が大きく減ってしまうかもしれないということでした。しかし、私の場合、幸いなことに外観的にも感覚的にも患部周囲の筋肉がそれほど欠損したようにはなりませんでした。

手術前、アメリカの軍人の方が怪我により大きく大腿部の筋肉を損傷した記事を読みました。その方は、細胞外マトリックス（extracellular matrix）治療を受けて見事に欠損した筋肉の回復を得ているようでした。

Before the resection surgery of HO, I had been concerning that right thigh muscle that was resected would largely became less than before. Fortunately, as for me, the appearance and function of right thigh was not abnormal.

I read the article of an American army solder who had injured and experienced large loss of his thigh muscle apparently. It seemed that he recovered excellently by extracellular matrix therapy.

I find it informative about regeneration of muscle 's soft tissues.  I was encouraged by your experiences. Thank you very much for your bravery.
